In Science, we have been learning about electricity. First of all, we learnt about different sources of electricity including renewable and non-renewable sources and explored how power stations work. After that, we learnt about different types of electricity and thought about the different every day appliances that use electricity in our homes and school and how we can stay safe. We investigated circuits and explored complete and incomplete circuits using lots of different equipment. We were given the problem of having a complete circuit all of the time and investigated how we could solve this using different switches. Finally, we designed a festive light up decoration and made choices about what type of switch would be most suitable!
