Hello Summer Term!

We are really excited to start our 'Amazing Animals' topic. We have begun by introducing the children to Eric Carle and exploring the wonderful ways he creates the artwork for his picture books - so many colourful images of animals! We are using the well-known story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' for our focus text this term. To support the children's learning and exploration we have some of our own caterpillar friends to observe over the coming weeks. We are looking forward to seeing the changes over time first-hand and then release the butterflies to the wild. The children will get to hold them if they want to.
