If you have a four-year-old in Hedgehog Class or your child is due to move on to Reception in September, then they have probably told you that they are allowed to take themselves to the toilet now.

This is all part of getting them ready for school. Of course, we are always on hand for those "oops-a-daisy" moments but they should occur less and less often. If your child does not yet wipe themselves completely clean, then summer is the perfect opportunity to give them practice.
