So far, we have built robots with real scrap metal. See the new Stospley EY Instagram account to see how we have been using hinges, bobbins, tins, chains and the clever use of magnetic tape to build robots.

We have also explored a new-to-us construction kit called Meccano that uses nuts and bolts and is great for physical development of fine manipulative skills.

In the coming weeks, we will be turning our role-play area into a robot workshop. We need your help with this. Please donate any small boxes (pies, cereal, toothpaste) cartons and particularly foil pie dishes to this workshop.  We cannot take anything that has contained nuts such as cereal bar boxes.
