Year 5 really enjoyed finding out lots of information about World War 2 in our workshop. Dressing up as evacuees helped the children immerse themselves in the experience and they had lots of fantastic questions for our visiting expert. The children found out all about life for soldiers during the war, including having a chance to hold the kit soldiers would have been expected to carry. A highlight of the day was getting the chance to be real life code breakers and having a go at the buzz wire game!
