England Players Visit

The whole school received an amazing assembly on Friday 16th March when the England Schoolboys football team came to visit us at Stopsley School. The team manager, Ben Lovell, delivered an inspirational assembly looking at values and aspiration, and how you have to work through knockbacks to achieve your goals. Children from both Key Stages listened in awe as all of the squad players answered their questions and spent time with them before going off to their training session later in the morning. England were in town as they were playing a match against the Republic of Ireland at Kenilworth Road on Friday evening.

The ESFA only visit one primary school per year and so we were truly honoured to welcome them to our school. All of the team's coaching staff, along with the ESFA Chairman, were in attendance. A huge thank you to Mrs Fuller and to Stopsley High School for helping set up this event for us.
